About Us
Collaboration Network
Led by De Montfort University (Leicester, UK) and the University of Granma (Cuba), the Cuba-UK network “Toma Mi Mano” (Take My Hand) seeks to support equitable development through cross-cultural exchange. The network champions participatory practices in both Cuba and the UK. With a focus on accessibility and inclusiveness, this project bridges societal divides, fostering collaboration and understanding. From community engagement initiatives to policy dialogues, the network drives impactful change through shared experiences and innovative approaches, with disabled people and their organisations in leading roles.
